Disk Jockey:

Every couple wants their guests to have a wonderful time.  Hiring great entertainment is one way to ensure that happens.  Music and dancing make a wedding feel like a celebration.  Consider what type of music your guests enjoy and pick a band or disc jockey whose personality complements your event.

·         Use music to set the mood!  If you want a quiet, elegant affair, consider a jazz ensemble or a DJ with a play list of strictly pop standards.  If you want to bring down the house a rock band or a DJ is an appropriate choice.

·         Keep it lively!  When selecting an Emcee, or Disc Jockey, avoid people who love the sound of their own voice.  You don’t want your entire wedding reception to be curtailed by someone talking all evening.  Before the event have a discussion with your DJ and make clear what components you want included and how much time should be spent making announcements.

As the evening goes on, it’s not the stunning décor or the amazing dinner that keep guests partying into the night – it’s the music.   Don’t underestimate its importance!
